Ology Island Poster

Doctrines can feel abstract, especially for kids encountering them for the first time. The Ology Island poster was designed to make theology tangible by turning big biblical truths into an illustrated journey across a whimsical map. Each stop along the way represents a doctrine of the Christian faith, giving children (and adults alike) a visual framework that makes learning feel like an adventure.

Discovering truth, one stop at a time.

The Ology Island poster is a centerpiece for a broader project that blends theology, storytelling, and visual design. Inspired by the idea of a hiking map or treasure map, the poster reimagines the major doctrines of the Christian faith as waypoints on an illustrated island. Each location—like Scripture Springs, Father’s Peak, Broken Valley, or the Triune Trail—is carefully named and illustrated to spark curiosity while teaching core truths. The playful, vintage-inspired style invites children to explore, while the clear organization ensures the map functions as both art and teaching tool. The design process combined whimsical illustration with theological precision. From the marsh representing the reality of sin woven into our DNA, to peaks and summits for the character of God and the work of Christ, the visual metaphors were chosen to both delight and instruct. This poster is more than decoration—it’s a learning pathway. Teachers, parents, and pastors can use it to guide kids through complex ideas in a way that feels approachable, memorable, and fun. Ology Island turns doctrine into a landscape you can explore, making the invisible visible and the abstract concrete.
