FAQ.
Yes — I co-founded Visual Theology with Tim Challies. Together we’ve created books, curriculum, and a design brand that’s been used by churches all over the world. That experience shapes how I approach every project: combining biblical clarity with creative excellence.

I primarily partner with churches to create sermon series branding, visual identities, curriculum, and creative systems that serve the mission of the church. At the same time, my design work translates beyond ministry — I’ve led high-profile projects for hollywood stars, businesses, and mission-driven organizations, and I’m comfortable operating at both the local church and national brand level.
Not at all. While I work on large-scale projects, I still love to partner with smaller churches and organizations when my schedule allows.
Because I serve full-time as Creative Director at my church and still work on Visual Theology, I take on only a select number of additional projects each year. This allows me to give each project the attention it deserves.
Both. I take on one-time projects like sermon series branding or book design, as well as longer-term creative partnerships when the fit is right.
I start with discovery: understanding your goals, audience, and challenges. From there, I create design solutions that are strategic, simple, and aligned with your mission.
Absolutely. I often step in as a consultant or outside creative director, helping teams strengthen their design systems, branding, or communication strategy. I also lead workshops on creative direction, production, tech, and building systems that help teams thrive.
Yes — I’m available for speaking, training, and workshops for churches, conferences, and creative teams.
I prioritize projects where design can make the greatest impact. Every project is unique, so I don’t use set packages — instead, I scale solutions to fit both smaller churches with limited resources and larger organizations with complex needs. My goal is always to align the scope of work with your mission and the value it can bring.
I combine 25+ years of design leadership with deep knowledge of the church and evangelical world. My work sits at the intersection of theology and design — helping churches and organizations communicate timeless truth in ways that are clear, compelling, and visually excellent.
