When the hosts of the Happy Rant podcast took their show on the road for a live event, they wanted a poster that matched their humor, energy, and love for cultural commentary. I designed The Last Laugh poster as both an event promotion and a collectible piece of art.

his four-color screen-printed poster was created for The Last Laugh, a live Happy Rant podcast event featuring Ted Kluck, Barnabas Piper, and Ronnie Martin. The concept drew inspiration from classic arcade cabinets, with bold neon pinks and blues giving it a nostalgic yet modern edge. The design leaned into the playful, tongue-in-cheek tone of the podcast itself, combining humor with sharp, eye-catching visuals. To make it truly special, the poster included a number of hidden Easter eggs connected to the hosts and the show—small details that longtime listeners would recognize and enjoy discovering. These subtle nods transformed the poster from simple promotion into a keepsake that rewarded fans for their connection to the show. The final product was printed as a limited-edition screen print in four vibrant colors, emphasizing the tactile, collectible quality. Like the event itself, the poster was designed to be memorable, playful, and just a little bit irreverent—perfectly embodying the Happy Rant brand.
